from Broadway to Ballet
Experience two beloved tales brought vividly to life through dance and live music. Carnival of the Animals delights audiences with the whimsical score of Camille Saint-Saëns performed by live musicians, while the original comic ballet Rumpelstiltskin, set to the exhilarating music of Antonio Vivaldi, spins a timeless fairy tale of mystery, courage, and imagination. A magical show for audiences of all ages.
Journey alongside Gerda as she embarks on a courageous adventure to rescue her dear friend Kai from the mysterious Snow Queen. Faithfully adapted from Hans Christian Andersen's cherished fairy tale and set to the haunting music of Dmitri Shostakovich, this original ballet is a beautiful story of friendship, perseverance, and love brought to life through powerful choreography and theatrical storytelling.
Celebrate the wit, elegance, and unforgettable music of Cole Porter in an evening that journeys from Broadway to ballet. Featuring beloved songs from Anything Goes and Kiss Me, Kate, a reimagining of Porter's rarely performed ballet Within the Quota, and music from Hollywood classics, Night & Day blends dance, live vocals, and music into a stylish celebration of one of America's greatest composers.

Creatures & Crowns pairs two enchanting works that celebrate the wonder of fairy tales and unforgettable characters. The evening begins with the playful brilliance of Carnival of the Animals, as the beloved score by Camille Saint-Saëns is brought vividly to life through live cello, violin, and piano alongside expressive choreography that transforms the stage into a magical menagerie.

Sophisticated, witty, and irresistibly entertaining, Night & Day celebrates the extraordinary legacy of one of America's greatest songwriters, Cole Porter.
This unique production explores Porter's remarkable influence across both Broadway and the world of dance. Audiences will delight in beloved songs from classic musicals including Anything Goes and Kiss Me, Kate, while discovering one of his lesser-known contributions to ballet.
Chronicle Dance Theatre presents a reimagining of Porter's 1923 ballet Within the Quota, originally created for the Ballets Suédois in Paris—a witty and imaginative work that tells the story of an immigrant's journey to America. The evening also highlights Porter's unforgettable dance music from Hollywood classics including Can-Can, The Pirate, Silk Stockings, and more.
