Join Chronicle Dance Theatre for an immersive week of classical ballet training designed to strengthen technique, deepen artistry, and inspire confident performance. This 25+ hour intensive offers focused, high-quality instruction in a supportive and challenging environment with a performance opportunity at the end of the session.

Intermediate to Advanced dancers

Division I - ages 11-13

Division II - ages 14-17

Pro-Division - ages 17&up

Elizabeth Troxler

Artistic Director & Master Teacher

Elizabeth Troxler brings over thirty years of experience teaching ballet to every level from the youngest beginner to the most seasoned professional dancer. She is an enthusiastic, energetic teacher with an eye for detail that can help anyone improve from where they are currently to the next level. Elizabeth has taught ballet at many universities, academies, and professionally in NYC, including at the Martha Graham Company & School, impacting dancers from all over the world. She is a certified teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance, but also a student of Vaganova, Cecchetti, and other training methods. Explaining concepts to help impact the dancer for the rest of their lives is Elizabeth’s specialty.

She has performed roles such as the Lilac Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty, the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, and the Pas de Trois from Swan Lake with The Nacional Ballet de Panama & The Illinois Ballet, as well as in Don Quioxte, Les Sylphide, Ballet Études, The Little Mermaid & Alice in Wonderland.  She has performed in Mame, CATS, Beauty & the Beast, An American in Paris, Sweet Charity, Anything Goes, & Brigadoon.

Elizabeth has conceived, created, and choreographed full length ballets such as Peter Pan, The Snow Queen, Rumpelstiltskin, and Hansel & Gretel. She has choreographed/directed West Side Story, Newsies, Legally Blonde , Matilda, Fiddler on the Roof, Bright Star, Chess, and On the Town.

Elizabeth is currently the Artistic Director of Chronicle Dance Theatre and of Allongé Films continuously touching lives and story telling through dance.  Her student are performing professionally in ballet companies, concert dance, and Broadway.
