Gracen Taylor

Gracen Taylor is from Marlboro, New Jersey and joins Chronicle Dance Theatre for the 2025-26 inaugural season. Gracen danced with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s Graduate Program where she studied with Susan Jaffe, Marianna Tcherkassky, and Terrence Orr. Here, she performed in PBT’s productions of The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Raymonda, Études, and George Balanchine’s Serenade as well as original works choreographed by PBT company members. Prior to her time with PBT, Gracen danced in American Repertory Ballet’s school under Douglas Martin, Mary Barton, Maria Youskevitch and Kathleen Moore where she performed the Fairy of Beauty in The Sleeping Beauty as well as company roles in The Nutcracker. She also trained at The Spring Lake School of dance under Patricia Tully Osborn and Elizabeth Troxler, performing principal roles including the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker. She has completed all levels of The Royal Academy of Dance through Advanced 2.
